Hamlet

October 1 , 2008 • 9:30 a.m. • $7

The Berkshires’ “invaluable and indefatigable” troupe’s first national tour features their acclaimed stage production of William Shakespeare’s powerful tragedy. Shakespeare’s luminous portrayal of the human struggle with two opposing forces, moral integrity and the desire for vengeance was hailed as “galvanizing and bold” by Variety. Students will experience Shakespeare’s work performed live onstage and explore more fully the play’s themes of revenge and moral corruptness.
