NOW AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
The dream of creating a performing arts center in the Fox Cities is the story of a community with a vision. The vision that became the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center began in the 1970s when local arts groups and civic leaders imagined a gathering place that would exist to educate and enlighten our children, showcase the region's performing artists and present the most spectacular performing arts from around the world.
In the fall of 1999, Aid Association for Lutherans, now Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, contributed $10 million toward the dream. Following Thrivent's lead, over 2,700 community members and businesses rallied together, and the Center's $45 million campaign goal was met in record time!
The Future Fund campain will ensure that dream now and for future generations, supporting the Center's subsidized mission-based programs and its committment to the community by:
• ensuring the Center's excellence in world-class programming
• sustaining and supporting the Center's education activities
• enriching and enhancing community engagement
• protecting and maintaining our physical asset and keep technology current
• ensuring access as a gathering place for the community
• providing and ensuring organizational stability and sustainability
Thanks to a dedicated, generous and visionary community, the Center has achieved amazing results in the first six years of operation. We invite you to make an investment in the future of the Center though your personal commitment to the Future Fund campaign.
